Are you a highly skilled Credit Analyst with a Diploma of Lending and Finance (DLA) looking for your next challenge? We have an immediate-start, 3-month contract role with a high potential for permanency, based in Mulgrave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a agile team and manage the end-to-end loan application process.
The Role
You will be responsible for interviewing customers and providing expert guidance on our lending criteria for both home and personal loans. Your primary duties will involve the comprehensive assessment of loan applications, ensuring thorough analysis of eligibility, character, affordability, and security.
- Loading and processing applications through the Loan Origination System
- Advising members of their approval status
- Preparing all necessary contracts and compliance documents
- Managing loan administration tasks like processing variations and handling discharge requests
- Identifying business development opportunities and ensuring all lending activities comply with regulatory codes and policies, including the Financial Services Reform (FSR) legislation
- Managing a pipeline of applications and maintaining clear communication with customers and third-party solicitors
- Collaborating with supervisors to workshop scenarios to achieve the best customer outcomes
