The Warehouse Supervisor is a key leader who supports the Warehouse Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role involves efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, workplace safety, and staff supervision. In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, the Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
The Warehouse Supervisor's duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
* Supervise and support warehouse staff to enhance productivity, efficiency, and adherence to procedures.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demands.
* Oversee Dangerous Goods Compliance and COR requirements.
* Ensure all stock is received, stored, and dispatched correctly and efficiently.
* Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
* Assist the Warehouse Manager in leading, training, and supervising warehouse staff, including hiring and assisting in performance reviews, and offering constructive feedback to staff.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities, arranging for necessary repairs and maintenance.
* Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of outgoing orders.
* Analyse data and generate reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to meet company objectives.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Previous experience in a warehouse and leading a team.
* Previous experience with inventory management systems, ideally Cin7, Starship and Shopify.
* Current High-Risk Work License – Forklift (LF)
* Current Driver's License
* Ability to be hands-on when needed, including heavy lifting and warehouse work.
