Design & Build Recruitment – Osborne Park WA
A well‑established, design‑led custom home builder in Perth is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
With a steady pipeline of projects typically between $1M and $3M, you'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and thoughtful design.
This role is primarily estimating‑focused, with exposure to scheduling and pre‑construction planning. You'll work closely with internal design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost planning and smooth progression from concept to contract.
Responsibilities
* Full‑scope estimating from early design through to final contract documentation
* Preparing Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and trade comparisons
* Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
* Reviewing and negotiating trade and supplier pricing
* Supporting scheduling, procurement, and pre‑construction planning
* Assisting with value management and cost optimisation
About You
* Proven experience estimating WA custom homes is essential
* Strong knowledge of single and double‑storey construction
* Solid understanding of local construction methods, finishes, and Perth market rates
* Proficient with estimating software (Truth Engine desirable)
* Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
