Senior Litigation Lawyer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for solicitors with extensive litigation experience who want to develop their expertise in commercial disputes, debt recovery, and property law.
* Lead and manage complex litigation matters from inception to resolution
* Draft pleadings, affidavits, and other court documents with precision
* Conduct debt recovery proceedings, including demands, negotiations, and settlements with excellent results
* Advise clients on property disputes and commercial litigation matters with strategic insight
* Conduct thorough legal research and prepare high-quality client advice
* Represent clients in court and instruct counsel where required
* Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality outcomes
Requirements
* Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with strong professional standing
* 5-10 years' post-admission experience in litigation or commercial law (flexible for strong candidates with relevant paralegal experience)
* Superior legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills
* Experience in debt recovery or property law highly regarded
* Excellent time management, with an attention to detail that is second to none
