Fruit and Vegetable Shop Assistant
We currently have an opportunity for part time fruit and vegetable assistant at our Claremont store. Our busy supermarket is open 7 days a week. Applicants will need to be flexible with hours and days weekend work required.
In this role you will be involved in the day-to-day activities of our store. We seek candidates who have previous experience in retail/fruit and vegetable department.
Our fruit and veg assistant will be required to promote and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service through personal example and direction whilst taking responsibility for the department
This hands on role will include:
* Receiving, rotating, replenishing, and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
* Juggling multiple things at once, motivating others and keeping calm under pressure.
* Serving and building relationships with customers
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring stock levels are adequate, rotated, and department presentation is well maintained
* Ensuring security procedures are followed
* Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable
* Have good communication skills
* Ability to work within a team environment
* Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers
The ideal candidate needs to possess:
* Previous experience in retail/fruit and vegetable department
* Availability to work across store trading hours, including weeknights and public holidays, especially in peak periods.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced and physical environment.
* The ability to work as part of a tight-knit team.
