As part of a deliberate operational restructure, we are separating inventory control from retail execution. This creates an opportunity for a senior Parts Team Leader / Retail Manager to take ownership of customer-facing parts operations and lead a high-performing team.
The Role
This role is responsible for retail and trade parts sales, customer service, team leadership, and supplier engagement. You will lead a team of 5–10 Parts Specialists, working across multiple leisure industry brands and systems, with a strong emphasis on motorcycle parts volume.
Inventory control and workshop internal parts supply will be managed by a dedicated internal resource, allowing you to focus on sales performance, people leadership, supplier relationships, and stock decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the retail and trade parts team across caravan, motorcycle, and marine
* Drive high standards of customer service for both trade and retail customers
* Parts interpreting across multiple brands and product lines
* Oversee parts counter operations and retail presentation
* Work closely with supplier representatives and brand partners
* Make informed decisions on stock ranging, replenishment, and obsolescence in collaboration with inventory control
* Manage and coach a team of 5–10 team members, including rostering, training, and performance management
* Navigate multiple OEM parts portals and systems accurately and efficiently
* Contribute to sales growth, margin performance, and operational discipline
About You
* Proven experience in parts retail, trade selling, or parts leadership
* Strong background in parts interpreting (motorcycle, automotive, marine, or similar)
* Automotive trade qualification or hands-on trade experience highly regarded
* Comfortable working in high-volume environments, particularly motorcycle parts
* Confident leader with the ability to set expectations and hold a team accountable
* Strong commercial judgement when dealing with stock decisions and suppliers
* Experience working with OEM portals and multiple brand systems
* Organised, resilient, and capable of managing complexity across brands and categories
