About the role:
Seymour College is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic catering team. This role is integral to delivering exceptional culinary experiences across the College, encompassing services in the Boarding House, Canteen, and College-wide events.
As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals for students, staff, and guests. This role works 38 weeks of the year during school term time, consisting of 37.5 hours per week (0.79 FTE). The key responsibilities are:
* Planning meals in consultation with the Head Chef.
* Preparing fresh, high-quality meals, considering dietary requirements.
* Contributing to catering at both large-scale and hospitality-level functions.
* Maintaining high standards of food presentation and kitchen cleanliness.
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, Work Health and Safety, and College policies.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
The successful candidate will possess:
* A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with proven experience in a similar role.
* Certificate in Food Handling and Hygiene.
* Strong understanding of large-scale food production and presentation.
* Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
* A proactive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to continuous improvement.
