We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive national growth and positioning the business as a leader in emergency compliance solutions. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leadership role will lead strategy across sectors like healthcare, aged care, education, and property - securing new business while helping clients prepare for and respond to critical events.

* This role involves joining the senior leadership team and reporting directly to the CEO
* The position will lead the national business development strategy across traditional and emerging sectors
* The successful candidate will own and manage proposal strategy, submissions, and client presentations
* Collaboration with internal teams is required on product development and market positioning
* The representative will represent the business at high-level industry events and national meetings
* The role requires delivering tailored solutions to clients across healthcare, aged care, education, and property sectors
* Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and forecasting with high data accuracy


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
* Proven ability to close high-value, long-cycle deals in compliance, emergency services, or training
* Strong commercial acumen and proposal writing expertise
* Experience working nationally and representing businesses at industry events
* Ability to comfortably manage bids, complex negotiations, and solution-based selling
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and CRM skills
* A genuine passion for client outcomes, public safety, and service innovation
