Latrobe Regional Health is looking for a Medical Workforce Recruitment Officer to join our growing team on a full‐time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Medical Workforce Recruitment Officer is responsible for coordinating end‐to‐end recruitment and onboarding processes for Senior Medical Staff (SMS). This role ensures recruitment activities, employment contracts and Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) agreements, credentialing, scope of practice approvals and pre‐employment checks are managed efficiently, accurately and in compliance with organisational, legislative and accreditation requirements. Working closely with clinical leaders, executive teams and external regulatory bodies, this position supports effective workplace planning and governance while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance. The role also provides additional support to Junior Medical Staff (JMS) recruitment during peak campaign periods to meet organisational workforce needs.

The Medical Workforce Recruitment Officer works collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, fostering a culture of partnership and continuous improvement.
The role of the Medical Workforce Recruitment Officer is to:
* Coordinate end‐to‐end recruitment and onboarding for Senior Medical Staff, including advertising, interview coordination and candidate communication.
* Prepare and manage employment contracts, VMO agreements, appointment letters, variations and renewals in line with Enterprise Agreements and LRH policies.
* Coordinate credentialing and re‐credentialing processes, including verification of qualifications, AHPRA registration and professional documentation, and facilitate scope of practice approvals.
* Manage pre‐employment compliance checks such as police checks, Working with Children Checks, immunisation compliance and right‐to‐work verification.
* Maintain recruitment, credentialing and workforce systems with a strong focus on accurate data management, reporting and compliance with NSQHS Standards and legislative requirements.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar recruitment, workforce or administrative role.
* Excellent organisational, time‐management and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced and demanding environment.
* High attention to detail and professionalism, with the capacity to analyse information, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
* Confidence with liaising with diverse stakeholders, including senior clinicians, regulatory bodies and internal teams.
* Advanced computer literacy across Microsoft Office and recruitment or database systems.
