About the role

As a Clinical Support Officer, you will provide timely and accurate administrative support to nursing, medical and allied health teams. Working closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the ward or unit.

* Coordinating administrative and clerical support functions
* Managing data entry, reporting and records management
* Assisting with rostering, recruitment and workforce administration
* Supporting purchasing and supply coordination
* Organising meetings, schedules, travel and accommodation
* Liaising with staff, suppliers and support services
* Assisting clinical teams with documentation and patient-related administration

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy team environment and brings:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
* Experience using Microsoft Office and database systems
* A professional, customer‐focused approach
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* A willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration (or equivalent) if not already held
