About the role: The Project Officer supports the strategic initiative to strengthen the Department's use of cross-departmental linked data to enable delivery of the Early Intervention Investment Framework. This position will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic frameworks, facilitate stakeholder engagement and provide input into governance and data asset operations. Under the direction of the Manager, Strategic Projects, the Project Officer will coordinate initiative activities, timelines and documentation to support planning, reporting and delivery, ensuring alignment with departmental policies and governance frameworks. Key responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating meetings to support effective communication and collaboration across the team. About you: Can you Demonstrate the following? * Prepares draft project scopes and briefs within broad parameters under direction * Develops draft operational policy which impacts the immediate work area * Uses and adapts theoretical and practical expertise in coordination of projects and work activities * Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data * Provides specialist administrative and corporate support expertise Qualifications / Specialist Expertise Qualifications * Tertiary qualification in fields related to health administration, public policy or project management would be desirable. Specialist Expertise * Experience in project coordination, preferably within the government sector, will be highly regarded.
