We are currently seeking an experienced Service Centre Assistant (Power tools) to support the operational needs of a large tool manufacturer. The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of product servicing and customer support. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of process and procedure with warranty and damage claims. Primary Roles and Responsibility Prompt contact and communication to customers of the FSC regarding repair status. Ensure prompt service for counter inquiries and/ or repairs. Coordinating completion of RA's with accounts & warehouse Basic tool repairs after all other duties are completed. Advising Service Centre Supervisor of potential stock issues and shortages WHS responsibilities can include maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace including correct lifting methods. Complying fully with the Makita (Australia) Occupational Health & Safety Policy Statement. Obeying all relevant safety, health, and environment legislation Duties may be varied from time to time consistent with the employee's training and skills and such varied duties are to be performed to standards which will be specified as required. Qualifications and Skills: Experience gained from working in a similar environment. Excellent customer service skills with an ability to empathise and prioritise customer needs.
