The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated
Orthopaedic Registrars
and
Senior Registrars
to join a busy surgical team. This is a hands-on role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic services.
You ll gain unparalleled exposure to a wide range of trauma, elective, and reconstructive orthopaedic conditions while working closely with specialist surgeons in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality clinical care to inpatients and outpatients within the Orthopaedic Department.
* Participate in operating theatre lists, including opportunities to perform surgeries under supervision (Registrar level).
* Supervise junior doctors and contribute to education programs for interns, residents, and medical students.
* Take part in the on-call roster to support 24/7 service delivery.
* Engage in research, quality improvement, and peer review activities.
* Foster a positive, safe, and culturally respectful workplace.
About You
Registrar Requirements
* Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* At least 2 years postgraduate experience, with exposure to orthopaedics or surgery.
Senior Registrar Requirements:
* Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Minimum 3 years relevant postgraduate experience.
