Bwgcolman Community School is a Pre-Prep to Year 12 National Partnership school located on Palm Island, 65km north-northwest of Townsville in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. About the Role
As Head of Department, you will lead curriculum development in alignment with school and departmental initiatives, support the delivery of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division's vision, and contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning. The role requires strong curriculum knowledge, the ability to contribute to school-wide attendance and engagement initiatives, and demonstrated leadership capability. You will work within a solid and stable leadership team and be responsible for fostering positive relationships with students, teachers, and stakeholders to support a successful learning environment.
