Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our clinical psychology program. As a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, you will contribute to the development and delivery of psychology training with a focus on postgraduate programs.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching and assessment, as well as experience in supervising students undertaking psychology placements. They will also possess leadership skills, enabling them to develop, teach, coordinate, and moderate units in clinical psychology.
The role involves contributing to the institutes administrative functions and holding a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). It is essential that all University positions delivering education and/or services to children hold a valid WWCC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, teach, coordinate, and moderate units in clinical psychology.
* Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Supervise students undertaking psychology placements within FedCare Psychology Services, including some on-site supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must possess general registration as a psychologist, clinical endorsement, and Board Approved supervisor status with AHPRA. They should also demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
