Job Description
The Tax Manager will provide a combination of Tax Compliance and Tax advisory services including but not limited to:
* Preparation of the Consolidated income tax return
* Manage transfer pricing compliance
* Manage GST compliance
* Manage the preparation and lodgement of the FBT return
* Monitoring Australian tax instalments and other tax payment requirements
* Manage the tax reporting requirements including preparation of periodic tax calculations
* Preparation of on-going Shareholder reporting obligations
* Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, to manage tax related issues
* Tax advisory: Advise on tax structures, tax implications for potential M&A etc.
* Prepare tax technical papers as required
* Ad hoc project work
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Manager should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional tax qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a similar role
* CPA, CA, CTA or relevant qualification
* Strong communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation tools.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
