Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Katherine, Northern Territory.
About the Role:
* Deliver high-quality clinical services, patient care, health promotion, and education as part of the primary health care team.
* Work alongside a dedicated and passionate multidisciplinary team focusing on both acute care and prevention.
* Based in Katherine, with a rural town-based service that does not require excessive travel nor on-call services.
* An ordinary working week of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for:
* Triage, assess clients, provide care planning, perform health screening assessments, administer medication, provide immunizations, assist with GP procedures, and provide other primary health care needs within your scope of practice and expertise.
* Providing mentorship and clinical support training to other team members.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Current Criminal History Check
* Working with Children Clearance
* A minimum of five (5) years' experience in clinical nursing practice
* Previous experience working in cross-cultural service environments, particularly in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare.
