**How will I help?**
Sitting within Group Procurement & Corporate Services, the CPS230 Commercial Manager is part of the CPS230 - Service Provider workstream within Group Procurement Governance & Portfolio Delivery. The CPS230 Service Provider workstream is responsible for implementing the upcoming CPS230 standard into Group Procurement. CPS230 will have change impacts across Group Procurement related to material supplier contracts, supplier governance, Group Procurement policies, standards and procedures, risk assessments and reporting. You will be responsible for assisting in driving delivery of workstream deliverables to meet overall CPS230 program objectives to comply with the new regulatory requirements. In your role, you will support the Executive Commercial Manager, Portfolio Delivery, part of the Governance and Portfolio Delivery team to deliver on Group Procurement objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist and lead in review of supplier contracts against CPS230 requirements, in conjunction with Westpac legal where required
- Assist and lead in planning of and negotiating changes to supplier contracts in accordance with Westpac's contract approval and execution principles and processes
- Manage and track contract profile data relating to the project
- Assist and lead in working with procurement and business stakeholders to plan changes to supplier governance
- Identify practices to procurement category teams managing supplier relationships to ensure ongoing compliance with recent regulatory obligations
- Develop an understanding of core procurement tools, processes, and procedures
- Support the project team to engage with internal stakeholders to deliver their project outcomes and ensure risk and compliance obligations are being met

**What do I need?**
- A solid background (3-5 years) in procurement including negotiating and managing supplier contracts, senior stakeholders, and supplier relationships
- Experience with APRA regulatory standards (preferred)
- Experience working in a project delivery environment and managing work against deadlines and dependencies
- A high level of stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to work flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
- Self-leader - works independently, manages to high quality and time with mínimal direction
- A tertiary qualification in business management or legal studies
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g. financial services) (preferred)
