We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Australian and international standards, and supporting group consolidation processes.

About the Role
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will:
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with AASB and IFRS.
* Lead local statutory reporting and ensure alignment with global consolidation requirements.
* Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including intercompany reconciliations and journals.
* Support group audit processes and liaise with external auditors and global finance teams.
* Ensure compliance with Australian tax and regulatory obligations (BAS, FBT, PAYG, PTRS, income tax, payroll tax, ABS Surveys).
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support local and global decision-making.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning local plans with group strategy.
* Maintain and improve internal controls and financial systems in line with global standards.
* Mentor junior accountants and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-border teams on finance transformation and digital initiatives.
Skills And Experiences
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* CA or CPA qualified (essential).
* Minimum 5–7 years' experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multinational or listed company.
* Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and global reporting frameworks.
* Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) and advanced Excel skills; PowerQuery or PowerBI experience is a plus.
* Exposure to group consolidation, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency accounting.
* High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
* Ability to manage complex reporting requirements and tight deadlines in a fast-paced global environment.
