About the role:
The Director of Medical Services (DMS) plays a critical role in supporting Goulburn Valley Health's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare aligned with organisational values. This position provides leadership across key areas, including:
* Medical Administration and Leadership
* Medical and Clinical Governance
* Medical Workforce Management
* Education and Training
* Health Service Committees
The DMS reports directly to, and is supported by, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In addition, the DMS will provide support to Yarrawonga Health, focusing on clinical governance compliance, systems, and processes in collaboration with clinical leaders and the Chief Executive (CE). Working closely with the Executive team, the DMS will help develop and maintain systems that enhance patient safety and reduce the risk of adverse clinical outcomes.
