On offer is a permanent role. During the first 3‑month probation period we offer 3 return flights and camp‑style accommodation. After qualifying, you will be expected to relocate to Karratha; relocation assistance is on offer.

About The Role
* Coordinating the estimating team, and preparing and packaging tenders and quotes.
* Training younger engineers in estimating.
* Preparation of tenders, including submission documentation and coordinating bid preparation end‑to‑end.
About You
* Trade background or engineering degree.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience (10+ would be ideal).
* Must be very fast and capable on the computer to pull apart drawings and tender packages. Highly advanced Excel is a minimum – pivot tables, macros, the lot.
* Comfortable visiting minesites and client sites to inspect, measure and attend tender briefings.
* Working at heights, confined space, MSIC and EWP tickets will be required within the first 3 months.
* Have the ability to pass a mine site medical.
* Excellent English and communication skills—written, oral (phone) and in‑person—with the confidence to sell a project to clients.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience across steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
* Hydraulics and machining experience highly desirable but not mandatory.
* Extensive structural steel estimating experience, covering mine operations (chutes, conveyors, etc.) plus installation and maintenance estimating.
* You must have full Australian work rights to be considered; no sponsorship on offer.
