Talent Blue is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for an ongoing role supporting a major steel mains manufacturing facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, long-term project where safety and precision are the top priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of complex plant equipment used in the production of world-class water infrastructure.
The Role
Working in a heavy industrial environment, your day-to-day will involve:
* Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled inspections and servicing of manufacturing machinery and plant assets.
* Breakdown Support: Rapidly diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
* System Upgrades: Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new electrical systems.
* Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work meets Australian standards and site-specific safety regulations.
* Technical Troubleshooting: Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to solve complex automation and control issues.
What You Need
* Australian Electrical License (Unrestricted).
* Proven experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
* Strong fault-finding skills (PLC, motor controls, and high-voltage systems experience is highly regarded).
* A proactive approach to safety and a \"team player\" attitude.
