Provide Support and Hope for Recovery
This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with case managers, offering support and opportunities for clients to engage in activities that promote recovery.
* Support clients in engaging in recreational activities and/or recovery-related activities.
* Transport clients participating in program activities.
* Maintain regular communication with all team members.
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with residents.
* Respond appropriately to incidents impacting resident safety and security according to site policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications:
* Lived experience of mental health and homelessness, or understanding of what contributes to recovery from a lived experience perspective.
* Experience supporting people struggling with mental health and homelessness, including volunteer work.
* Ability to co-facilitate groups and willingness to learn necessary skills.
* National Police Record check required prior to commencement.
* NT Working with Children Ochre Card check required prior to commencement.
* Current NT driver's license.
* Certificate of Full Vaccination status for Covid-19.
