They are seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join their team in Sydney. This is a senior position in the P&A team and requires a strong technical P&A analyst in this high profile internal stakeholder role. Role Profile: The Senior Performance Analyst is a leadership position in one of the reporting and analytics teams within the P&A function. The role will act as the dedicated Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Equities, Credit, and Alternative Investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior managers and analysts to deliver precise performance measurement and insightful analysis, driving investment decision-making and enhancing our investment outcomes. Key Tasks: Leadership and Strategy Investment Performance Measurement and Analytics Managing Complexity Stakeholder Management Data Management Qualifications / Experience: Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, business, IT related, quantitative disciplines. Postgraduate or professional qualifications such as CIPM and CFA Charter holders come highly regarded. Extensive experience in performance & analytics across all investment sectors. Expert understanding on applicability of performance calculation methodologies across multiple asset classes, in particular derivatives & overlays, and expert understanding on impact of unlisted investments on total fund and benchmark returns and analysis. Expert familiarisation with investment market environment. A background in institutional funds management, industry, or other superannuation funds as well as custody and funds administration come highly regarded. Demonstrated ability as a pro-active team player, with tasks and issues assigned followed through to completion.
