The role of Senior IT Applications Support Consultant is to provide expert system support and guidance for a wide range of clients. You'll work collaboratively with technical and business teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver advanced system admin support in Microsoft environments aligned to SLAs
* Lead or contribute to architecture, design, and technical solution proposals
* Onboard customers and research new tech for enhanced service delivery
* Engage in pre-sales activities, solution demos, PoCs, and evaluations
* Identify infrastructure risks and develop improvement strategies
* Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations
Requirements:
* Expert-level Windows Server/Desktop administration in enterprise environments
* Strong experience with VMWare and virtualised server management
* Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell or VBScript
* Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft MECM, MSI/MSIX, and OS deployment
* Familiarity with application control tools such as Windows Defender Application Control
