Job Overview
A prominent highways professional is required to spearhead the delivery of complex highway projects in QLD.
Main Responsibilities:
* Civil works, including road design and urban precinct planning, will be led for government projects.
* Projects will be managed end-to-end: client engagement, proposals, design management, and delivery of civil infrastructure.
* Junior team members will be mentored and developed while fostering high-performing teams through coaching and recognition.
* The professional will contribute to business strategy and maintain strong external relationships to maximize opportunities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or similar) with RPEQ qualification (or eligibility).
* 10+ years' experience in civil engineering, including road design TMR/local council standards.
* Proven capability in client contract management, with experience as a technical advisor and reviewer.
* A strong track record of delivering complex projects with both technical and leadership expertise.
