About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Support Officer (CSO) to join us in this critical role within the EDSSU (Emergency Department Short Stay Unit) to provide high-level secretarial, administrative and transactional support to the healthcare team.
As the CSO, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting nurses and midwives on the ward/unit by managing rostering, payroll, recruitment, and workforce-related activities
* Ensuring accurate and timely data entry, report preparation, and administrative coordination of patient care and quality initiatives
* Coordinating resources, supplies, meetings, student placements, and travel to ensure the smooth functioning of the ward/unit

About You

* Relevant administrative qualifications or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
* A collaborative and patient-focused approach, valuing teamwork, accuracy, and service delivery.
* A current NSW Working with Children Check.
