Protech require the services of experienced Sheetmetal Workers for various projects throughout Sunshine Coast, and the Rockhampton area on commercial sites. Projects will be both short and long term, which we will advise and offer as they arise.
Current and upcoming projects include Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Multi Residentials, and Schools.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Immediate start available with additional projects starting in the new year
* Rates currently vary from $65-$80.21 per hour – both award and EBA work available
* Standard work hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
* Additional penalties and allowances applicable
* Casual roles with ability to move to permanent
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Installation of Sheet Metal
* Installation of Air Conditioning units for commercial sites
* Ability to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
* Read and interpret plans and specifications
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Possess all mandatory industry licenses
* EWP, Working at Heights, Scissor Lift, Forklift tickets are advantageous but not required
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* 3+ years of demonstrated commercial HVAC experience
* Have an ability to navigate, understand and troubleshoot an array of HVAC systems
