Our client is a national market leader with international expansion plans. They have seen significant growth in the past 5 years and are expanding at an alarming rate. A need has arisen for an experienced finance person to take overall responsibility for the accounting function of several of their entities, reporting to the CFO and working alongside 2 other experienced FC's within the group. The role will include financial accounting and reporting, budget preparation, budgets vs actuals reporting, forecasting, cash management, cost control and taxation.
Other responsibilities include:
* Responsibility for all accounting and reporting activities
* Management, co-ordination, consolidation and analysis of the budget
* Preparing monthly management reports including monthly reporting against budget and Board reporting
* Cashflow management, forecasting and reporting
* Review and oversight of accounts payable, receivables and bank reconciliation staff.
* Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting and tax filings
* Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and other stakeholders
* Oversight and management of all overheads
Our ideal applicant with be CPA/CA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years experience in a senior accountant/FC role. You should have an ability to lead and motivate teams, and work to tight deadlines. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and advanced literacy on Excel are a must, as is your proven experience in tax planning and cashflow forecasting.
