Position Information Vincentia High School is a vibrant co-educational, comprehensive; community school located in Jervis Bay on the South Coast of New South Wales. Proudly situated on the lands of the Wadi Wadi and Wandean people, we walk together with our local Bay and Basin community to support and build our future leaders. The student population of around 950 is stable with 20% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school has a FOEI of 122. Selection Criteria 1. Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10, Mathematics 11-12 and willingness to teach Mathematics 11-12 and Mathematics Extension 1 and 2. 2. Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the Mathematics faculty to deliver new curriculum that focusses on engaging and differentiating teaching and learning programs and assessment, including the introduction of the new Stage 6 Mathematics syllabus. 3. Capacity to deliver engaging lessons that account for a range of student learners, including with an HPGE focus and those requiring additional support, delivery of timely, constructive, and effective feedback to support student progress, build confidence, and foster continuous improvement.
