As a Part Time Hotel Services Team Member at Crowne Plaza Hobart, you’ll be a helpful host, local expert, and proud brand ambassador. You’ll be trained across Front Office and Food & Beverage services, gaining experience in reception, concierge, reservations, and food delivery across the restaurant, bar, and room service.
Working in a team that values excellence and individuality, you’ll respond to guest needs with professionalism and care – whether it’s valet, room service, or concierge support – ensuring every stay is memorable.
Your day to day
You’ll also comply with WH&S;, HACCP, and crisis management policies, and stay informed about local events and hotel happenings so you can act as a knowledgeable neighbourhood host.
What We Need From You
We’re seeking individuals who bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A robust interest in the hotel industry and/or experience in premium service or other high-level customer-focused environments.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional guest service.
- A service-oriented mindset, with resilience and flexibility.
- Previous experience in Restaurants, Bars and as a Barista. Hotel Front Office experience is not essential but favorable.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and Australian driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and support colleagues as needed.
- Pride in presentation and professionalism—wearing your uniform with confidence.
- Be based in Hobart and available immediately, or relocating soon.
