Situated in the Goulburn Valley, we are a new liquid milk processing plant.
The Role
We're looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to operate our Dairy Facility's milk pasteuriser and manufacturing plant. As a full-time rotating shift crew member (12 hour shifts; Monday to Thursday; day shift & night shift), you'll have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and be looking for opportunities to show your initiative and draw on your previous experience in similar roles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Run and maintain the pasteuriser and manufacturing equipment to achieve quality, food safety and product specifications
* Closely monitor the dairy production process and follow SOP's for batching and processing products
* Accurately prepare & maintain all area records and paperwork
* Monitor fats, total solids, allergen, extraneous water and other related items as they associate with processing dairy products
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
* Verify all charts including frequency pen, cut in/cut out temperatures and product recording temperatures
* Operate equipment at recommended speeds and communicate mechanical and operational issues as they arise
* Operate and clean/sanitise equipment with a sense of urgency to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
* Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
* Analyse process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
Who are you?
* You're an accomplished Pasteurisation Operator having greater than two years experience in a comparable role.
* Ideally you have completed Year 12 and have a Certificate III or above in Food Processing or Process Manufacturing.
* You have strong mathematical skills and are a great communicator.
* You're flexible – you're happy to work flexible hours including overtime, shift work, weekends and public holidays.
* You enjoy working in a team and are passionate about contributing to a positive work culture.
* Forklift licence will be held in high regard
* You must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
