Job Description
As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing person-centered speech therapy services to our elderly clients living in our communities. Your primary goal will be to promote independence and wellbeing through contemporary theory and practice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively screening and assessing clients to formulate and maintain up-to-date care plans
* Maintaining open communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Referring clients to appropriate health professionals when necessary
* Liaising compassionately with clients and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
* Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships
* A clear understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices
* A current Australian Driver's License and a road-worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
