About the Role
This role is responsible for leading communications activities to effectively deliver regionally relevant information, supporting a profitable and sustainable dairy industry.
The Communications Coordinator will contribute to engaging farmers, service providers, project partners, and supporting organizations with programs and resources, building knowledge and capability within the industry.
Key responsibilities include providing farmers with accessible, timely, and relevant information to increase knowledge and skills, and support business decision-making. The role also involves developing local content that engages farmers and drives awareness of services, people, and resources.
Additionally, the Communications Coordinator will lead communications and content plans for regions, ensuring alignment with priorities and national farmer communications strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience writing and editing copy for various media, tailoring their writing style for different audiences. They should be able to proactively source relevant information, contextualize, and define key messages that meet target audience needs.
