What is the focus of the role
The Digital Content COE is a next generation content engine that has been built for scale, speed, automation and personalisation. As a Digital Senior Designer you enjoy connecting data insights, with current and emerging technologies to design high impact digital assets, templates and campaigns. This is a multi-modal role where you will get the chance to design across a variety of digital and video formats, leveraging LLM scripts and AI automation tools. You will be part of an iterative 'test and learn' environment where you will produce modular, re-usable, metadata-rich content across on-site and off-site digital experiences, digital marketing channels, chatbots and AI agents.
This is a role ready for someone that loves to drive results, balancing the need for story telling with customer and commercial impact. Join us in building a world class content ecosystem that redefines how digital content is designed, delivered, measured and scaled. If you have a passion to participate in building a future-ready capability that sets new benchmarks for speed, impact, creativity and innovation, then this role is for you.
About the role
As a Digital Senior Designer, you enjoy fusing creativity, UX principles with current and emerging technologies to design high impact digital assets, templates and campaigns. We have an ambitious goal to amplify the volume of content we create 5X whilst reducing our time to market. Instead of creating single pieces of content, we create content systems -think libraries of assets, variants, and narrative building blocks that can be assembled and personalised automatically for different customers, contexts, and intents.
You will be part of a core Telstra team that will experiment and embed the latest AI based visual design, video, copy tools and processes to help us achieve that. This role requires you to be technically savvy, commercially astute along with demonstrating strong visual design skills. You drive the creation of reusable design templates and systems that support scale and speed. By creating digital content that is more relevant to more of our customers you can help us fulfil Telstra's purpose to build a connected future where everyone can thrive.
You are a visual communicator who is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of our design principles, creating multiple variances and formats of content at scale to amplify the volume and impact of our designs. You thrive in cross-disciplinary, ambiguous environments. You will consistently leverage insights to establish a creative rationale and look around corners to design solutions that are relevant today, and in the future.
