About the role

Are you currently working in the Food & Beverage industry, either in sales or in the manufacturing plant, and want to grow your career? Are you a recent graduate looking to kick start your career with a global business?

As our Account Manager based out of Hobart, you will work with food and beverage manufacturers in the south region of Tasmania to enhance operational efficiency, food safety and product quality. You will utilise the vast resources of Ecolab to tailor cleaning and sanitising programs, understand operational efficiency objectives and help reduce the total cost of operations for our customers. You will identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and work proactively to expand business revenue. As a trusted advisor you will provide guidance on best practices, product usage and industry trends, build relationships at all levels and follow up on requests promptly.

In this role you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision‐makers at customer sites to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct on‐site hygiene product testing, inspections and audits to identify and address potential contamination or hygiene issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance when issues arise with Ecolab products or services.
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
• Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure account health and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate regular business review meetings with your customers.
• Drive sales and business development opportunities, actively seeking to grow Ecolab's products within the dairy, brewing, beverage, protein and food processing industries.

Our preferred candidate may have:

• Experience in sales or manufacturing.
• Ability to facilitate clear and open dialogue with diverse stakeholders at site level and beyond.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem‐solving ability and equipment maintenance skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and a strong hunger to learn.

This role may require travel to other parts of Tasmania and may include overnight stays and occasional night work to support our customers' requirements.
