Job Description:
As a key member of the Land Management and Tenement Administration team, you will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT) and contribute to the effective and efficient regulation of mineral exploration and mining across Tasmania.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, mining and exploration industries, community members, and other MRT branches to manage client queries, applications, and incoming correspondence.
Responsibilities include processing and administration of applications relating to mineral tenements and administration of the Mineral Resources and Development Act 1995. This includes financial record keeping and facilitating the quarterly distribution of production and expenditure returns.
You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders, deliver comprehensive administrative support, and respond effectively to complex enquiries.

Benefits:
This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 12 months. The successful candidate will be employed on a Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 4 salary range of $83,011.00 to $95,547.00 per annum.
