One Clinical Research (OCR)
OCR is a leader in cancer clinical trials, specialising in pharmaceutical industry-sponsored clinical trials for patients with haematological (blood) and solid-organ cancers.
We are seeking a Clinical Trial Finance Associate to join our dynamic research operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial oversight of our clinical trial activities. Based within the Finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the clinical project teams to accurately manage the trial billing and expenditure.
This position will join a close-knit team passionate about optimising patient outcomes in an innovative and progressive private clinical trial setting, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure OCR continues to meet it's mission of delivering high-quality ground-breaking clinical trials, advancing access to better treatments for those with cancer.
Key Responsibilities
* Create site invoices for protocol-defined visits and conditional procedures, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual agreements for all OCR's clinical trials;
* Reconcile accounts payable against approved expenditure/trial vendor activity and purchase orders;
* Liaise with the internal clinical teams and finance team to ensure accuracy of clinical information and timely resolution of queries;
* Ensure adherence to CTRA terms, sponsor requirements, and regulatory standards;
* Work with the Finance team on end of trial cost reconciliations; and
* Identify opportunities to streamline financial project tracking.
Mandatory Experience / Qualifications
* Tertiary health sciences, nursing or biomedical sciences qualification, or equivalent;
* Knowledge and experience of clinical research environment/clinical trials, healthcare finance, or clinical research finance and/or cost management. Ideally equivalent to >2 years' experience as CTA/CTC in pharmaceutical industry-sponsored clinical trials or healthcare finance setting;
Desirable Experience
* Strong understanding of clinical trial agreements (CTRA)'
* Experience with collating financial information/billing trackers, accounts payable and/or accounting packages and bookkeeping
* Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate projects;
* Understanding of Quality Assurance and Risk Management within clinical trials and/or healthcare services;
* Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, effective clinical trial conduct and continuous quality improvement and consumer participation in clinical trials.
