Cash Management & Banking Officer

Join us as a Cash Management & Banking Officer – an essential role that ensures efficient financial operations. This 0.8 FTE position offers flexible hours across four or five days. As a key member of the Financial Services team, you will maintain accurate bank reconciliations, oversee investment reporting, and support month-end and year-end processes. Your work will uphold transparent and reliable financial management, making a tangible impact in our community.
We seek a professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach. You'll liaise with stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and utilize systems like Technology One and online banking effectively. Key skills and qualifications :
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial systems, especially Technology One
Strong numeric and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of accounting procedures related to reconciliations and investments
Nice-to-have skills :
Investment management and cash flow analysis experience
Familiarity with legislative requirements such as the Unclaimed Monies Act
Experience supporting financial reporting and audits
Preferred education and experience :
Proven commitment to superior customer service
Prior experience in financial accounting or similar roles
Ability to solve complex problems and produce accurate, timely work
Satisfactory police check required
Additional requirements :
