Job Description
Reporting to the Product Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Digital Business Analyst is to enable the Digitise Program so that measurable efficiency is accessible and to lead robotic process automation (RPA) analysis, translation of digital minor enhancement requests into implementable user stories, and the producing of clear, testable requirements with step‑by‑step work instructions.
The Digital Business Analyst partners with product, RPA solution specialists, developers and business stakeholders to ensure automation opportunities are well‑qualified, solutions are right‑sized, and the backlog is continuously refined to deliver safe, sustainable value.
You will make an impact by;
* Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure seamless collaboration and understanding of requirements.
* Working closely with the Product Owner to define clear, testable acceptance criteria for each user story to ensure that the development and testing teams have a precise understanding of the desired outcomes.
* Working closely with the UI/UX designer to develop solution design flows to include wireframes and design mock-ups into user stories (where required).
* Validating requirements to ensure alignment and technical constraints are identified and worked through.
* Producing Process Design Documents (PDD) detailing as-is processes, business rules, inputs/outputs, step-by-step instructions and exception handling.
* Identifying potential risks related to the scope, timelines, or technical challenges and work with the Product Owner/Manager to mitigate them.
Position Description Inherent Requirements
Qualifications
You will bring;
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a digital or IT environment.
* Proven track record of working on Agile projects and familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
* Experience in writing user stories, detailing acceptance criteria, and working with cross-functional teams.
* Experience in writing Process Design Documents (PDDs) for Robotic Process Automation.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
* Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
