About the Role
As our Early Learning Centre Manager, you'll lead day-to-day operations and guide a young, multicultural team through a period of positive growth and change. You'll uphold best practice, support continuous improvement, and foster a warm, collaborative environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the long day care service
Act as Nominated Supervisor and (as required) Educational Leader
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse educator team
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework
Manage budgets, utilisation, quality assurance, and the QIP
Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community
Support potential future expansion of the service
About You
You're an experienced early childhood professional who leads with empathy, steadiness, and authenticity. You bring strong regulatory knowledge, a child-centred philosophy, and the interpersonal skills to uplift and unite a young team.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent)
Candidates 50% through an approved ECT qualification with leadership experience will be considered
Experience managing or coordinating an early childhood service
Strength in coaching and mentoring educators
Collaborative, culturally aware leadership style
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Essential Certifications
Current First Aid (including asthma & anaphylaxis)
Child Protection Training
NSW Working With Children Check
Driver's licence (strongly preferred)
