About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance & Administrations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while handling key financial tasks. The role is designed with a balanced 50:50 focus on finance and operations, though some days may require a greater emphasis on one area depending on business needs.

Responsibilities:
Finance Focus:
* Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payments, and reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
* Handle payroll administration and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Operations Focus:
* Provide administrative support for operations, including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and tracking shipments.
* Manage inventory records, order supplies, and assist with stock control.
* Prepare operational reports, monitor compliance with safety and transport regulations, and handle documentation for freight movements.
* Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries and ensure efficient workflow.
* Support site administration tasks, such as maintaining records, organising meetings, and managing office resources.
Success Profile:
* Proven experience in administration, with exposure to both finance and operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting systems.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
* High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
* A team player who can work independently when needed.
