Fitzgerald Aged Care has been especially designed for the enjoyment of older people in the Hawkesbury who can access help with day-to-day living while retaining their independence. A total of 48 residents can be accommodated at this beautiful venue which, features spectacular views, fully equipped kitchen, dining rooms, large common areas, balconies and gardens. The facility maintains 46 permanent residents and 2 respite residents.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our team. This position will be responsible for the delivery of a range of financial services to support the day-to-day financial function of the organisation and maintain its compliance with legislative reporting requirements.
Key duties are:
* Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
* Human resources and payroll processing
* Assist with preparation for financial audits
* Compliance with legislative reporting requirements
* Provide advice to managers to support their financial decisions
* Assist with electronic submissions for QFR, ACFR and ACNC
* Provide assistance with banking functions including internet banking, authorisations, signatories and security measures
* Assist the Business Manager to ensure all eligible Government funding is claimed and received
* Liaise with the Department of Health and Aging to correct any anomalies in assessments and funding
* Assist with providing financial information to prospective residents of Fitzgerald Aged Care
* Liaise with residents or their representative to ensure the accuracy of asset and income assessments and support them to address any anomalies.
The role will be varied and include a focus on process review and improvement to ensure that Fitzgerald remains compliant with various legislative frameworks.
