We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic support worker to join our aged care team.
This role involves providing clinical and personal care assistance to residents, working closely with nursing and therapy teams. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, meal assistance, vital sign measurement and recording. You will also be responsible for supporting medication management under nurse supervision.
1. Support the well-being of elderly individuals by implementing prescribed therapy plans including gentle exercises and mobility support.
Benefits & Requirements
1. Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred but not required (equivalent experience considered).
2. A minimum of 1+ years full-time experience in aged care or disability support is essential.
3. You must possess NDIS Worker Screening Clearance issued within the last 5 years at time of application. Current flu vaccination & COVID-19 immunisation certificates are necessary too.
4. A reliable mode of transport would be advantageous due to shift work requirements so travel between locations may occur regularly throughout your employment period.
