Job Description
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of our RFID identification solutions — from development through production and ongoing management. You will manage existing product lines and serve as the primary technical liaison between local Australian teams, including customer support and production, and our global R&D and engineering departments. This role requires a hands‐on, practical approach, including regular site visits to farms and production facilities to ensure product success in real‐world environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Serve as the primary liaison between local customer support, production lines, subcontractors, and global R&D/engineering teams.
* Manage the lifecycle of RFID identification products.
* Conduct site visits to farms and production facilities to gather insights and ensure product performance and quality.
* Facilitate effective communication and alignment across matrix‐based teams including hardware, software, subcontractors, and operations.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills and drive execution to meet project timelines and business objectives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience with RF and RFID technologies is a strong advantage.
* At least 7 years of relevant experience in Project lifecycle management and/or program management of multidisciplinary products.
* Experience working in a matrix‐based organization with cross‐functional teams including hardware, software, subcontractors, operations, customer support.
* Hands‐on experience in product development and NPI involving hardware, RF, firmware, and mechanical components.
* Understanding of operational process (for NPI & sustain products) such as manufacturing operations, supply chain planning, costing, sourcing, contract manufacturers / OEM, supplier quality, and other functions as needed to drive successful commercialization of new and existing products.
* Willingness and ability to conduct site visits to farms and production facilities as required.
* Demonstrated problem‐solving skills and a practical, hands‐on approach to resolving technical and operational challenges.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a technical liaison between diverse teams and stakeholders.
