About the role
In your new role as an Electrician with Baiada Livestock, you will support the team in:
- Performing routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on livestock-related equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensuring all electrical systems operate efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
- Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and carrying out preventive maintenance tasks.
- Working closely with livestock, production, and maintenance teams to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintaining accurate records of electrical work and updating maintenance management systems.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems or equipment.
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with Baiada’s safety procedures, policies, and relevant electrical standards.
About you
As a qualified Electrician, you will bring recent hands-on experience working in a fast-paced industrial or processing environment. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A current NSW Electrical Trades Licence.
- Proven experience in both preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across a range of electrical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and electrical diagnostic tool.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing electrical repairs and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising with team members and reporting issues.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting.
