**The Role**:
Our client has eight Advanced Training positions in General Medicine, rotating through General Medicine and other sub-specialty positions such as stroke, respiratory medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, and nephrology.
Ideal for those who have completed BPT requirements and are interested in pursuing a career as a General Physician (or in Dual Training alongside another area of interest).
Presently the Department of General Medicine has 16 Staff Specialists, mostly in part-time roles. Each unit has two Basic Training Registrars and two Junior Medical Officers (Intern or RMO), and 2-3 consultants.

**The Hospital**:

The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
