Job Description
Your main job duties will include:
* Accurate and timely processing of payroll for the external workforce on a weekly basis
* Ensure entries to the Group payroll system are accurately captured and checked for validity
* Review workplace awards on a regular basis to ensure each employee is being paid in line with workplace laws and entitlements. This includes the award and levels within the award.
* Participate in award interpretation discussions, but not require to lead interpretation decisions
* Investigate and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
* Maintain and update payroll-related information for all staff.
* Accurate calculation and payment of all payroll-related statutory requirements.
* To identify, implement and communicate improvements in payroll efficiencies with the assistance of management where necessary.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have at least 1 - 2 years of end to end payroll and award interpretation experience, ideally within the healthcare industry however not mandatory. They will have great attention to detail, be proactive and act with speed and accuracy. Most importantly - they will contribute well into the culture and be a valuable team member.
