Content Creator for Social Change
The role of the Content Creator will be to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that effectively communicates the campaigns, values, and importance of union membership to a diverse audience.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in the trade union movement, with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing Multimedia Content: Plan, design, and develop multimedia content (static and animated information, text, pictures, video, sound) that effectively communicates union campaigns, industrial rights, member benefits, and promotes worker solidarity.
* Campaign-Focused Production: Design and produce visually compelling assets for digital and print media to support union campaigns, including materials for websites, social media, e-newsletters, brochures, and reports.
* Brand Management & Digital Presence: Ensure all content and design work powerfully reflects the union's identity, values, and strategic messaging, strengthening its voice for working people.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience working directly for or in close collaboration with a trade union or trades and labour council.
* Qualifications in Visual Communications or Design or equivalent, and/or proven experience in the field.
* A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print work, ideally including examples of materials developed for campaigns, member communications, or worker advocacy.
