About This Role
Our Private Enterprise team is looking for a Senior Business Services Accountant to join our friendly, supportive Adelaide office. Your work will support business leaders throughout the lifecycle, from daily operations and tax compliance to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
* Liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements and provide tax and accounting advice.
* Monitor and review the work of junior team members and provide development, coaching and mentoring as required.
Skills and Experience
* Qualification(s) or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s).
* Have attained or commenced a CA qualification.
* Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities within a deadline‐driven environment.
